Donald is the Northern California Operations Manager for NextWeb. He has over 24 years of experience with all forms of wireless including multipoint process control (oil, gas, water and electrical), satellite communications and extensive microwave knowledge. As International Sales Engineer for California Microwave’s Data Division, he sold and installed wireless control/distribution systems throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Donald has held multiple positions in business as Director of Marketing, Product Manager of Western Multiplex’s Lynx and Tsunami unlicensed product lines; and consultant for the California Transportation’s Security System for the Bay Area’s bridges/tunnels providing over 250 1Mbps video streams into CalTran’s and the Highway Patrol’s(CHP) command center in Oakland, CA after 9/11. He has provided wireless training from basic to advanced in over 30 countries and written many articles on the use of wireless mostly for the unlicensed bands.
